CET/EET 400 Students Pitch
Their Projects
|

We Listened, We
Learned CET and
EET students pitch proposed senior project topics to the
faculty. In each instance the technical approach was discussed
and in some cases changes recommended. As you can tell from
these photo's, hands played an important role in the
discussions. The proposals included such
topics as: TV/Cable remote extension, home environmental
control, carbon monoxide monitoring, voice command control,
audio equalization, weather monitoring, exercise efficiency
monitoring, Labview-based control, RC car control, etc. Most
students received the go-ahead to development the technical
documents. A technical review with the individual advisor will
focus on the details of
development. These concept meetings
were non- confrontational and highly productive. It is the
first time we have used them and it is obvious that the time
was well spent. Thanks to Mr. Adams for including this
real-world process in the senior project effort. |

Who's At Home? We're At
Home!
|
|
|
|
| Definitely, around computers. |
And at home in an audience. |
Even at home during a
test. | | |
