What Is This White Stuff?
Wow! We almost had a white Christmas this year. On 2 January 2002 the city woke to a world seldom seen in this part of the state. Two inches of snow covered our city.  Here are some pictures from my neighborhood. And, it was as cold as it looks. Later in the week temperatures fell to 19' F.

Do You Think Our Students Feel At Home?

It may be cold outside but it is warm in, in more ways than one. It pleases us to be your home away from home. And our students do have a knack for looking at home. Of course they dress up really nice too. (For proof, click on the picture on the left.)

Work advances on the exercise path. There was a slight  slowdown due to weather but we should be using it before the end of spring, for sure. Yea, that's right. I can't wait to get out there with all you already-trim and slim people. Yea, that's right. Mvc-536s.jpg (43182 bytes)

More Lab Equipment
Mvc-674s.jpg (43937 bytes) Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa came to the 3rd floor. We ordered and received enough new equipment to set up two more workstations in TEC 319, for a total of 10. This lab typically hosts EET 110L, 111L, 210L, 311L, etc. Mvc-675s.jpg (43871 bytes)
It is our intent to limit teams to two members per workstation. The EET and CET programs receive an equipment budget of approximately $20,000 per year (total). This money must be spent on equipment. Expendables are purchased using your lab fees, which is from a totally different fund. We have already upgraded the digital lab and the control lab, as previously reported, and are planning next year's improvements and additions. If you have suggestions, please feel free to discuss them with any faculty member. Email is also welcome. (The 3rd scope in the picture will go down the hall.)
